Featuring Chicago-based duo maeve & quinn (maeveandquinn.com) who draw from indie pop, jazz/improv, classical, and Irish traditional music. Their work moraine speaks to a natural phenomenon formed through the movement of a glacier.

From Our Red Dirt by composer DJ Sparr draws from the idea of music originating from the land.

Thaw by Chicago-based composer Roger Zare is inspired by the transition of winter to spring as warmth and life returns.

Leaf Catalogue by Katherine Balch β€œis an ode to all the tiny little netted veins, the malachite spines and splintery emerald epidermi, the viridian curves and fern-green webs turned to sea-foam in the sun.”
